Someone is here tonight.

Someone that looks so much like you.

From the long brown locks,

to the deep hazel eyes filled with gloom.

The instinct to pay my tab and run....

instead I just excused myself to the restroom.

For the first time ever,

I felt my heart bloom.

Not only did I look him in the face,

I smiled at him and gave him a nod.

I found comfort in the similarity of your faces,

It thumped against my chest,

skipped a few beats;

sending my memory back

to all of the times I was tangled in your sheets.

I found myself CELEBRATING those memories.
